In our Pilates classes we focus on matwork, with an emphasis on working muscles to lift against gravity. Low impact exercises on the mat aim to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Many movements target core strength, while at the same time working other areas of the body. Pilates movements are slow, precise and include breath control. To ease or increase difficulty levels we have access to plenty of light equipment such as: thera bands, overballs, stability balls, weights, rollers, fitness circles, BOSU etc.
